Sal Lena was a visionary and always knew that cars would be the future, he followed his heart and passion when he opened Village Auto Body & Towing, Inc. in 1967. While Sal was busy towing and operating the auto repair business, his wife Angie was busy at home with their 5 children.
Sal’s success was realized when with the help of his children, he moved Village Auto Body & Towing Inc. to 7815 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park, IL. As the business continued to grow he needed a much larger facility. In 1991 Village Auto Body & Towing, Inc. moved to its present day home at 9344 Byron Street, Schiller Park, IL.

Today Sal’s daughter Paulette, son Joe along with his son-in-law Ray and granddaughter Sommer are managing Village and helping to preserve the integrity of the business that their father and grandfather started all those years ago.
Sadly, Sal has passed but his legacy has lived on in his children and granddaughter that are the driving force of the business.
